Die GRIMMWELT von A-Z

Special Exhibition

Title motif for the exhibition ‘Light-Pictures’ | Alexej Tchernyi

Light-Pictures

From November 30, 2024, we present the work of Berlin artist Alexej Tchernyi in our new special exhibition.

Permanent Exhibition

Mother and child look at fairy tale books in the "Folk tales" section.

GRIMMWELT adventure space

Experience fairy tale collectors and linguists Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm in this fascinating world of knowledge and discovery.

Everything from fairy tales for primary school pupils to the Brothers Grimm’s working methods in the Age of Romanticism for secondary school students—the GRIMMWELT offers points of interest and reference for all age groups.

Teaching modules can be assembled individually and adjusted to comply with school curriculum requirements.

Interactive

There is lots to learn, experience and discover here—including hands-on activities and exhibits you can touch. The GRIMMWELT is not a museum, but an experience space—not just for adults. We turn education into first-hand experience!

Accompanying material

Our workbooks are the ideal way for students to explore the exhibition and follow up the visit in class afterwards.

The class can take the audio walk tour of Kassel to round off the visit to the exhibition.

The “Tell me your (hi)story” programme provides particularly valuable support for projects on intercultural work.
